At first glance, you wouldn't be able to tell that the playful, purring kitten was once
roaming free in the wild. Although we don’t know what her history is, one thing is for
sure, Gretchen was a feral. A humane trap is what allowed her to be caught,
spayed, and de-wormed. From there she stayed a few weeks in a cat tower (happily
I might add).
Gradually, I began to pet her through the cage and her immediate reaction was to
purr. She was still at this point hesitant, but I opened the door and Gretchen
ventured out! Her first friend was my nine month old cat Coco who happens to share
the same colorings as Gretchen. Well this was weeks ago, and today she rubs
against my legs, chases my feet under the blanket and has lots of love to give!

"When I first read that this experience would be rewarding I was thinking, yeah right. However, what I discovered
that when all said and done, it was a rewarding experience. Both cats seem to be doing great."
"We are so impressed with the organization and efficiency at Feral Cat Focus. I don't come across this in
business much anymore and it was a breath of fresh air to see how streamlined you have got it."
"Thank you so much for all you do."
